Trans Feminine Adult Support Group at ALDERNEY LIBRARY First meeting : Saturday, January 16th, 1:30pm.
No cost.
The library is located right at the Halifax Ferry Terminal. A lot of buses stop right in front of the library as well, so transportation shouldn't be too much of an issue.
The Anchor Archive Zine Library and the People's Photocopier are MOVING to RadStorm at 6050 Almon St.
RadStorm is a DIY collectively run space that houses InkStorm Screenprinting Collective and the SadRad music collective, an all ages practice space and venue. Check it out! http://sadrad.h-a-z.org/
We are very excited to be reunited with InkStorm after a few years of being in separate spaces. At last, zines, the photocopier, and screenprinting together again, and this time with music! It's a very cozy heated space with couches, computer, internet, big windows, and will be complete with a new photocopier/zine making station!
We need help moving!
Packing/prep:Wed Jan 6 at 5:30pm at Plan B (2180 Gottingen St).
MOVING DAY: Sun Jan 10 at 1pm at Plan B (2180 Gottingen) and moving to RADSTORM (6050 Almon St).
We have A LOT of zines to move and a very heavy photocopier so please come lend a hand if you can!!
Accessibility info:
Plan B has one step going down into the main space of the store.
Radstorm is up 2 flights of stairs. We regret that the space is not very accessible. It was a difficult decision to move to an inaccessible space. We are working on securing funding to install a lift on the stairs. If you would like more info about the accessibility of the space or about our decision making process, please feel free to ask!
