Registration for the Cookie Kick-Off events in Des Moines, Council Bluffs and Mason City closes January 10!

Don’t miss out on this great chance for your troop to gear up for an awesome Cookie Season. 

Resources for Entering Your Initial Order


To participate in a direct sale format, the Troop Product Manager (TPM) and Juliette parent/guardians place an Initial Order for cookies BEFORE girls approach customers. Research shows when girls have cookies on-hand, they have more successful sales!

As the Initial Order deadline on January 15 approaches, we want to give you some great resources over the next few weeks so you feel confident placing your troop’s order for the cookies to start your program. If you are planning to have a booth sale between February 12 - February 15 you need to place an Initial Order so you have cookies on-hand. Cupboards & Cookie Jars do not open for order pick up until February 16
 
Note: The Initial Order is a decision each Troop Product Manager and Juliette Parent/Guardian makes using data from last year and goals for this year. This is not a chance for parents to collect “pre-orders.”

Don’t miss out on Snap+ 101 training, happening now! This training will help you learn how to navigate our online order management system.

Snap+ has had some great upgrades since last year, so all volunteer should be sure to check it out! Register now by using the links below:

Important Dates 

  • 2016 Snap 101 Training: Register Online!
    • January 7 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
    • January 8 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
    • January 9 from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
  • January 10: Booth Scheduler randomly assigns council-secured booth sales in Snap at 11:59 p.m. You will receive an email confirmation for times awarded to your troop.
  • January 12: Left over council-secured booth sales will be available through the First Come, First-Serve process in Snap. See the Snap Guide: Booth Sale* document for help.
  • January 15: Initial Order due at 11:59 p.m.
  • January 16: Cookie Kick-Off Events!
  • February 1 - March 13: Cookie Order-Taking
  • February 12 - March 20: Direct Sales and Booth Sales
