2016 is leap year adding an additional day in February. I’m sure you know this happens every four years to keep the calendar in alignment with the Earth’s revolution around the sun. But, did you know that in the 19th century a woman had the right to propose to a man on February 29th? This was before women’s liberation and equal rights where gender roles were more concrete than today and was considered a very unique and bold thing to do. So, next month you can propose to the man of your dreams. But, what if you are already married, don’t want to get married or there is no dream guy in your life. What will you do with that extra day? With today’s fast-paced society, days crammed with work and hourly deadlines, let’s use those extra 24-hours wisely. Consider doing something special for yourself or meaningful for someone else. Let’s not waste the precious time we have. ~ Beth

Don't let someone else define your success. If one thing doesn't work, try something else. Believe in yourself always."
