The Keystone Top 5: Hot Tubs

People come to Keystone for the nation's best skiing, but a good soak in a hot tub is not far behind on their list of reasons for choosing a mountain vacation. There's really nothing better than soaking in a hot tub after a long day of winter adventures with snowflakes falling all around.

SCMR has put in the hard work of figuring out what the best five hot tubs are in Keystone. It was a tough job, but someone had to do it.

(And for those looking for a great deal for MLK Weekend, visit our website and enter in your desired dates. Nightly rates have just been lowered because there is very limited availability. Try adjusting your arrival and departure dates or considering a one day trip so you can see the widest selection of properties.)
SCMR Presents: The Top 5 Hot Tubs in Keystone

No. 1 on the list is Dakota Lodge. This complex features two of the largest hot tubs in all of Keystone, not to mention the largest pool too. A little known secret is that the pool and hot tubs at Dakota Lodge are available for all guests in Keystone. Throw in an absolute stunning view of the slopes and you've got the number one hot tub in Keystone.

Second on the list is Chateaux DuMont. Each property in this premiere building features its own private hot tub. Although running through the cold can be invigorating, after a long day you might want to just walk a few steps from the living room so you can soak those worn out muscles quickly. Plus, there's no standing in a nearby lobby trying to look busy as you wait on a hot tub to clear out. Here at Chateaux DuMont your hot tub is always waiting just for you.

Coming in third we have The Springs. This hot tub made the list because of the entire set up with amenities at The Springs. The outdoor amenities are just stunning, especially at night with all the lights. Not only is there a hot tub, but there's also a heated pool with a slide and waterfall, a splash area with water sprayers, a grill area and an outdoor fire pit for making s'mores. Sit back and soak those muscles while the rest of your party makes use of the other amenities.

Fourth on the list are the hot tubs at Slopeside in the Mountain House Base Area. These hot tubs are located several stories up on the roof of one of the buildings. Designed with unique architecture, these hot tubs are set apart with a wall of windows on either side. Not only do these provide privacy, but they also allow you to take in the stunning mountain and ski slope views. If you can get someone to cook and serve you a steak from the outdoor grill nearby you'll be all set.

And coming in at the fifth spot is the private hot tub located at 1608 Soda Ridge. This is a stand-alone mountain home that sleeps 27 and for that reason its hot tub made our list. This private home can be reserved and then the cost split amongst more than one party. So, invite your family, friends, acquaintances, long lost relatives--just get a group together and then head out to the covered deck and jump in the hot tub. And, don't worry, taking turns in the hot tub won't be a problem as this property also offers a sauna, steam room, pool table, foosball table and a media area.
