9:00AM -  CELEBRATION WORSHIP - SANCTUARY

10:00AM- MINGLE IN THE MIDDLE - We are joining together on this Sunday for a special fellowship time we are calling "Mingle in the Middle" between the two worship services.  Coffee will be provided in the Woodland Street Mall.  All Sunday School classes are asked to bring snacks to share as you do for a regular Sunday School morning and a little extra! You may drop your treats off any time after 8:30am near the Coffee Cafe.  Click here to request more information.

The Jazz Alliance Christmas concert on December 20 featured a visit from Saint Nick. A host of kids heard his story of Baby Jesus!






The evening also included special visits from Elsa and Olaf from the movie Frozen to the delight of our children!

MORE + LIVING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Sunday, January 10 through February 7, 2016 we will explore I Timothy in our new sermon series: More + Living to Make a Difference.  As we focus on these passages we will be challenged to deepen our personal commitment, more consistently practice the disciplines of Christian faith and increase our influence in the world around us.  You will not want to miss this series!

NFCN NIGHT AT THE PREDATORS
Saturday, January 16, 2016 the Predators take on the Minnesota Wild at 7:00pm.  Tickets are $30 a piece and a very limited number are available.  Click HERE to get your tickets now.
Sunday School Classes and Small Groups ---The Room in the Inn dates are being scheduled quickly so please contact Pastor Bob Milburn now to select the date your group will volunteer for Room in the Inn or for more information.

URBAN MINISTRIES
Colder weather is coming.  Donations of winter coats, hats, gloves, and blankets can be left in the Emmaus barrels located in the foyer.  The need for toiletries and new socks and underwear continues year round.

LOVEBOOKS
In middle-income neighborhoods, the ratio of books per child is 13 to 1, in low-income neighborhoods, the ratio is 1 age-appropriate book for every 300 children.  
LoveBooks is a new ministry, developed by First Church volunteers, that distributes books to disadvantaged kids

Everyone struggles.  Sometimes it helps to talk about it.  Did you know that Nashville First Church of the Nazarene offers resources to connect you to caring Christian counselors?  All of the counselors are part of our church and ministry.
