Since 1997, Marcus has been producing music under the name Son Kite and Minilogue together with Sebastian Mullaert. Their career as Son Kite took a quick start when they released their first album in 1999. They were suddenly playing at clubs and festivals worldwide; mostly in “trance” parties even though they themselves never put their music under the style “trance”. Everything comes in its own time: a wordly wisdom that Minilogue doesn't take for granted. Since their foundation years, they have emerged as one of the most respected and hard to pigeonhole electronic music acts world-wide.
GIVING BACK TO THE UNDERGROUND – RAINER The Barcelona bred started his interest in music through recording mixes to cassette tapes in the late 90s. He quickly built a passion for electronic music and started to amass a collection of superbly picked records. The influence of techno and house movements of that time would be the catalyst to his entry into the world of production Rainer is the type of artist who will never compromise, never settle for less and always go the extra mile to find that perfect groove. For Danish Native Rune Reilly Kölsch, Kompakt is the “perfect label” to call “home.” The much-‐ revered Cologne-‐based imprint released Kölsch’s seminal LP ‘1977’ in 2013, continuing a tradition of providing ground breaking and genre-‐defining cuts. Kölsch’s work proved to rewrite the rulebook on techno production, setting it on a melodic, emotion-‐induced course. Kölsch returns to Kompakt this year with his long-‐awaited album ‘1983,’ a veritable master class from one of techno’s very best. MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE - WINKY WIRYAWAN Winky is no stranger to the limelight while most people know him for his celebrity career hosting TV shows and appearing regularly on Indonesian TV its well and truly the DJ circuit that is his main focus playing in up to 5 different cities per week as the demand for his musical services increases with each and every booking. Winky studied Accounting at University when he first shifted to Jakarta where the exposure to the whole DJ culture began and slowly but surely become part of his career path and where its taken him to where he currently sits as one of Indonesia's most in demand performers. BRINGING THE GROOVE BACK – PROK & FITCH Brighton boys Ben Prok & James Fitch joined forces after meeting in a record store in 2006. Both DJ’s in their own right with 18 years experience between them, they discovered that their tastes were very similar and became the formidable DJ duo we know today. Since joining forces eight years ago, Ben Prok and James Fitch, better known as Prok & Fitch, have established themselves as leaders in house music, consistently producing Beatport Top 10’s, managing their own flourishing label Floorplay Music, and smashing clubs worldwide with their alluring, unadulterated sound.
