The NEW Jewish Leaders Fellowship:
In February 2016, Penn State Hillel is launching the Jewish Leaders Fellowship, a cohort of 60 students that is designed to equip student leaders with the leadership skills they need to enrich Penn State and the world. As part of the JLF, students receive an in-depth leadership assessment portfolio from a nationally renowned business consultation form, will engage with influential Penn State Jewish alumni, and participate in a year-long leadership curriculum. National Hillel Basketball Tournament, hosted annually by Maryland Hillel  - March 24-27, 2016:

The 6th  annual
National Hillel Basketball Tournament, hosted by Maryland Hillel, will be March 24-27 this year (games beginning Friday, March 25). NHBT features 45+ teams from around the country competing for the coveted “Kiddush Cup” in both men’s and women’s tournaments, along with hundreds of fans who come to enjoy the weekend’s festivities. The weekend includes a mega Shabbat dinner, social programs, meals, accommodations, swag, practice time, and more, including this year, an awesome opening event Thursday night for fans and spectators.
Check out the NHBT 2016 release videoThis year NHBT is offering special “Early Bird” registration at an $175 discount from the regular registration fee for teams signing up and paying their deposit before January 19th. Spend the Summer at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem!
 
Open to current university students who have demonstrated notable leadership within their Hillel communities within the last two years, and are passionate about enriching Jewish life on campus. Limited slots available.
 
All fellows will receive a guaranteed living expenses grant of $2000 AND receive highly subsidized Year Program tuition: 50% off ($2,875) for those not eligible for Masa funding, and over 90% off ($5,250) for those eligible for Masa funding* (these students pay only a nominal student activities fee of $500).
 
While at Pardes, Fellows will work closely with the Engagement team to plan 2016-17 campus visits, recruitment and outreach efforts. Wherever possible, fellows will be supported in returning to their alma maters as Pardes representatives in 2017-18, ideally alongside a Pardes staff or faculty member.
