Then we have a spot waiting for you at the 36th Annual World Whale Day Festival. This is your opportunity to showcase your products or business to over 20,000 expected festival goers on Saturday, February 13th in Kihei.

Voted “Best Community Festival” on Maui, World Whale Day is an all-day celebration that honors Hawaii’s humpback whales. Beginning at 9:00am with a hometown parade down South Kihei Road, the festivities continue until 6:00pm at beautiful Kalama Park -- featuring:
  • Live performances from Willie K, John Cruz, HAPA, Marty Dread, Amy Hanaiali`i Gilliom, George Kahumoku, Cyril Pahinui, Manutea Nui E.
  • 'Ono foods from local restaurants and food trucks.
  • The original Made on Maui artisan fair.
  • Keiki Carnival with bouncy castles and other fun activities for kids.
World Whale Day attracts equal numbers of residents and visitors, many of whom come year after year. The festival is FREE for keiki under 12 and only $5 for those 13 and over. Plus, we make getting the crowds to you at the park easy with our free off-site parking and shuttles.
