Invitation to Fr Bill's farewell
The Jubilee Year of the Lord's Mercy and Love marks a time of change at St Clement's.
We farewell Fr Bill Goldman and welcome Fr John Airey and Fr Pat O'Neill.
To farewell Fr Bill we invite you to the blessing and opening of the pilgrims gates dedicated to mark Pope Francis' call to reflect on the Mercy of God in this Jubilee Year of the Lord’s Mercy and Love.
It will be held at noon on Sunday, 7 February, followed by a farewell light luncheon for Fr Bill afterwards in the dining room.
Important: Please RSVP on 02 63805222 or email: info@stclement.com.au by Wednesday, 3 February.
Make music with us
The year's activities at St Clement's begin with the popular music retreat weekend on 5 to 7 February. Singers, musicians and all people interested in music for liturgy are invited to spend a weekend to pray, rest and explore the liturgy with presenters Sr Carmel Pilcher RSJ and Sr Margaret Cusack RSJ.
Come to pray and paint
Numbers are growing for the annual Eat, Pray, Paint weekend with St Clement's artist-in-residence Sue Orchison and international iconographer Mylene. Join a “pop-up” art community on 12 to 14 February.
Our Redemptorist saints
Clement Mary Hofbauer's feast day is celebrated on 15 March. He was born in Moravia (Czech Republic) in 1751 and is considered to be a co-founder of the Redemptorists. He was independent, resourceful and very much a man of God. Clement was a late bloomer. He tried many things in his youth and early adulthood, but had not found his place in the world.
