Sleep For Teens

Wednesday, January 20th
6:45 p.m., Homestead High School

For many people, insufficient sleep ruins their day. For teenagers, insufficient sleep does more than ruin their day; it can lead to disastrous mental and physical health consequences.

On Wednesday, January 20, Stanford Clinical Professor of Sleep Medicine Dr. Rafael Pelayo will present the science behind teen sleep, typical teenage behavior regarding sleep, the deleterious consequences of long-term sleep deprivation in teens, and suggestions for healthy sleep habits.

This talk is free and open to all community members in Cupertino, Sunnyvale, and surrounding areas.  Parents, students, and teachers of FUHSD, CUSD, and SSD are especially encouraged to attend.  Thanks to the Homestead PTSA for hosting this event.

Note: You must
register.  There is currently a wait list.
