We’ve received several responses from regional offers to meet, all favorable. Top items to relay to you all are:
- Upcoming meeting with AMA and FAA speakers in Fairfax VA the 21st at 7:30. See below for details.
- FSA sent a letter Monday to the FAA and cc’d the AMA asking for an exemption
- FSA contacted area clubs and received favorable replies about collaborating.
- FSA posts to come soon on our website regarding suggestions and addresses to write your Maryland representatives.
Some of us plan to drive to Fairfax for the meeting. North Virginia RC invite email and invitation is below for all who are interested. We encourage those of you who can make it to attend and to share what you have learned with other fellow club members.

NVRC Members,
The first meeting for the NVRC club is January 21st at 7:30pm. Meeting location remains the same at the Fairfax Fire Station on Main street. In response to all of the questions about the field and it's status, we have the opportunity to have as guest speakers Bill Blacker and Brian Thorpe who are with the FAA. They will provide us with an update and the status of moving forward. They can answer any questions you may have on the subject as well. Please make sure you come to the meeting to hear the latest information and what you can do to help. I'm excited to see everyone at the meeting.
