Pacific Whale Foundation is proud to present the 36th annual World Whale Day on Saturday, February 13 starting with a hometown parade along South Kihei Road at 9:00am. This year's parade theme is For the Love of Whales!
The Parade of Whales features costumed sea characters and ocean-themed floats created by community groups, schools and businesses. 

World Whale Day festivities continue center stage at Kalama Park with live music performances by:

  • John Cruz
  • HAPA
  • Marty Dread
  • Amy Hanaiali`i Gilliom
  • George Kahumoku
  • Cyril Pahinui
  • Manutea Nui E
Kids will have a whale of a time enjoying bouncy castles, fun games, cotton candy, shave ice and other great treats at the Keiki Carnival.

'Ono food from local restaurants and food trucks will be available all day. 
World Whale Day is also home to the original Made on Maui Fair featuring unique and locally-made crafts. 

New for 2016: special exhibit space for farm-to-table vendors and green businesses. 

World Whale Day is FREE for keiki under 12 and only $5 for those 13 and over. The Parade of Whales is free and open to all spectators and participants. There is also free off-site parking and free shuttles to Kalama Park all day.
