He's My Man Classic Final
The final eight Greyhounds have been determined for today’s afternoon 36th running of Palm Beach Kennel Club’s $50,000 He’s My Man Classic.
This year’s field is chalk-full of talent to the umpteenth degree! Trying to single out a Greyhound that will most likely win the first of our $150,000 “Big 3” stake races is a difficult task. This year’s $50,000 He’s My Man championship final is about as diverse of a field as we have ever had.
For fans of early speed, we offer for your consideration our leading point earner in qualifying, HOTFOOT RIHANNA. This shy, little lady has won 14 races this season using her fantastic, explosive speed at the opening of the starting box.
Also competing for the early lead will be some of the nation’s finest rushers to the first turn. All you have to do is take a look at the racing lines and replays of finalists XTENSHUN, NB’S KISSTHEROAD, SG’S TOM SEAVER, JS TOHOTTOHANDLE and SUPERIOR PHILLY.

Matinee Idol Semi-Finals
The first heat of the 2016 Matinee Idol Semi-Finals went to the wire to determine the winner. BELLA THREE PEAT played follow the leader throughout the race. When he found a little opening on the rail, he was able to squeeze through and have his nose first at the finish line.
MAGIC HUSKER ran a terrific race, despite having to deal with BELLA SPARTAN in the early stages, and tried fending off the closers in the stretch. He will be ready and barking loudly on Monday Afternoon. Also advancing to the Final are BELLA SPARTAN and TMC'S MACOM CRY.
JACK'S TIMELESS clocked in with the season's best time in the second heat. The 2016 Inaugural champ withstood a mini-duel with DT'SWILDESTDREAM to the escape turn before turning it on for an easy win.
DT'SWILDESTDREAM, the early speedster from the box, could not sustain the drive in keeping up with MR. TIMELESS. Monday afternoon could be a different story. The last two spots belong to LEGO ANDREW and MAC'S GOSSIE.
These athletes will be ready and fine-tuned for the 2016 Matinee Idol Final.

Inaugural Final at Derby Lane
JACK'S TIMELESS wasted little time as he flashed away with a brilliant front-running score in the country's oldest greyhound stakes race, winning the 91st edition of the St. Petersburg Inaugural. JACK'S TIMELESS broke sharp and drew clear at the escape turn. From that point on, he was on a solo mission to a seven lengths 2016 victory.
KENTUCKY KAT did not have her early footing with her in this race. She still managed to run on gamely for a second place finish. This youngster goes from breaking her maiden in October to running against stakes company. She is undoubtedly a star in the making.
FLY BOBBY JINDAL would have needed wings to keep up with the winner. His speed carried him to a third place finish.

Sprint Championship at Naples
Round 1 of Naples-Fort Myers $20,000 Sprint Championship kicked off Wednesday afternoon, January 13th. A field of 64 greyt greyhounds competed over 8 qualifying races on the track's 550-yard course.

Race 1: #4, ATOSCOCITA DISC, came from way off the pace, drawing away on the inside to a 4 length victory, followed by #8, HOME MADE MONEY, and #5, JMB'S FLEX.
Race 2: #2, ROCKDOWN RASCAL, was an early leader on the inside, holding #3, RODEO ROMEO, off at the finish. #6, B LUCKY LUIGI, held on for the show.
Race 3: #2, LAZY K MYTH JILL, got the early lead with #8, DS RUMBA, quickly following in pursuit. A late rush around the far turn by #1, WHERE'S BOOGIE, drove him to second with DS RUMBA claiming the victory.

This two time winner of the Orange Park Derby, the only greyhound to ever do so, is rested and ready to go for another chance at a crown. Remember, she has won 11 of her 14 starts in derby competition, so plan on her to be a force.
The Falcon Kennel gives you a few to consider as well. The runner up in the 2015 Orange Park Derby SHUTTHEFRONTDOOR and the always trying threat BOSTSONSTRONGIRIS. Both greyhounds are breaking machines that thrive when they are close to the early lead. If either gets loose early in the rounds, they could put up some big efforts.
