Complex systems engineering Chair
The Complex systems engineering Chair, founded in 2003 by École polytechnique, ENSTA ParisTech and Télécom ParisTech, has been renewed for a period of five years on December 8, 2015. Its main objective is to be an academic center of excellence in architecture and systems engineering studies. SystemX is a permanent observer in this chair. Find out more
AFNeT Partnership
SystemX has just signed a partnership with AFNeT, the French association of digital reference in industrial sectors. This partnership will mainly concern a strong involvement of SystemX in AFNeT’s 2016 activities, as for example on standard projects, with the participation of SystemX’s SIP (PLM Interoperability & Standards) project, and on work communities around the CNIS (industries and strategic industries digital confidence circle). Bertrand Braunschweig, new director of Inria Saclay and member of SystemX Board of Directors
Bertrand Braunschweig was appointed Director of the Inria Saclay research center since January 1, 2016. He succeeds Nozha Boujemaa, who is now advisor to Inria’s CEO, Antoine Petit, in the field of Big Data. Find out more

Université Paris-Saclay celebrated its 1st birthday!
The creation decree of the ComUE Université Paris-Saclay was published on December 31, 2014, in the Official Journal. Today, the Université Paris-Saclay gathers over 15% of all French research, 9,000 researchers and more than 65,000 students.

R&D projects
LRA project
Raïssa Pokam, PhD student on LRA project, organized a creative session with about 20 participants on December 11, 2015, about the place of Augmented Reality information in autonomous vehicles. The aim was to ask participants to imagine what kind of information they would like to see in Augmented Reality in their future vehicle and what would be the best way to represent it.. The results of this session will help to guide future Human Machine Interface (HMI) developments on the LRA driving simulator, Dr SIHMI. Find out more

MIC project
The MIC@SystemX event took place in SNCF premises on November 26, 2015. The event’s goals were to present the early results of the Modeling, Interoperability and Cooperation (MIC) project and to create a moment for sharing results with its industrial and academic partners. ISE project
SystemX became a member of the CAR 2 CAR Communication Consortium (C2C-CC), a nonprofit, industry driven organization initiated by European vehicle manufacturers and supported by equipment suppliers, research organizations and other partners. The C2C-CC is dedicated to the objective of further increasing road traffic safety and efficiency by means of cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems with Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communication supported by Vehicle-to-Infrastructure Communication. This partnership will allow SystemX to develop new standards for the vehicle industry with the others C2C-CC members. Find out more
ISE project
SystemX is now registered as a member of ETSI, the European Telecommunications Standards Institute. This institute produces globally-applicable standards for Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), including fixed, mobile, radio, converged, broadcast and Internet technologies. Its standards enable the technologies on which business and society rely. As an ETSI member, SystemX will be in position to work closely with the institute on the new standards development. ISC project
Laurent Descombes, formerly responsible for the DCNS SETIS-C product line, has been appointed as ISC project manager. This collaborative system engineering project aims to facilitate collaboration between projects stakeholders to ensure the overall consistency and efficiency of the system. Find out more
