Shhh...It's a Secret!

Have you ever looked at others about you and thought, "How did they manage to buy that? I know they don't make more money than I do!" or "Why does it seem that he is so much closer to God than me? I've been in the Church much longer!" "When they pray, it seems like they can always find the answers! I don't hear anything when I pray!"

Whether it is of natural or spiritual means, when someone else has something you desire, the first thought might be to begrudge them such blessing. But what you may not know is that something has been done behind closed doors to produce such favor.

Bridgette writes this week about the open reward that comes from obedience in secret. What she did not know is that I recently preached a message, as well, on this very text! God is confirming this message to His people, challenging us as believers in the Last Days to step beyond religious traditions into a deeper, more meaningful, more steadfast relationship with Christ.
