Happy new year from Alessio and the NethServer Tribe

We hope you had fun over the holidays and are fully recharged to tackle 2016.

As you already know our greater purpose is making people comfortable and feeling welcome in our community. The enthusiasm you find here is quite exceptional and I am glad and proud to be a member of it.

As a matter of fact someone said recently:

Roadmap for Q1 2016

Recently we talked about our next development priorities, sharing our ideas with community and receiving several comments.
It's a bird's eye view of our ideas and we will go into details as soon as the projects start.

1. NethServer 7
2. Samba 4
3. Multi-site

We will try to release 7 with the same functions of 6 as soon as possible, we will work on samba4 and using more than one nethserver sharing the user accounts (multi-site).
Even make small adjustments to the server-manager interface before the final release of 7, for example, re-organizing the left menu.
Some small features will be worked on in parallel. Pull requests or new features developed by the community will be merged as soon as possible

Come on, let's build NethServer 7 all together

NethServer Community at FOSDEM '16

As every year we're going to FOSDEM the largest FOSS events in the EU taking place January 30th and 31st in Brussels.
It will be an amazing opportunity to meet up, chat, and drink a beer together. Some of part of the NethServer community will be definitely there

I'm also very happy to announce my talk about NethServer, called "Linux Server Administration for non-expert users", was accepted and it's going to be scheduled! 

We have planned 3 appointments:

1. NethServer Community Dinner - Saturday evening.
2. NethServer Community Meeting - Saturday afternoon  at the fosdem coffee bar
3. My talk about NethServer, Saturday afternoon
