WHAT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND?
When did you last read a book that made you laugh out loud as well as cry?  Author Jenny Lawson’s Furiously Happy memoir describes the battle she has waged her entire life with severe mental illness, riding the roller coaster of what she calls her “depressively sad” and “ furiously happy” moments.  Whether Lawson is orchestrating a taxidermied raccoon/live cat rodeo in her home, seeking to hold a koala in Australia while wearing a koala suit, desperately trying not to cut herself, or holing up in a room for days at a time, Furiously Happy is an unflinching autobiographical look at mental illness.   But it is also a groundbreaking, inspirational blueprint for all of us on how to live life to its fullest every moment that we can.
