The focus this time is on Lent resources – we have highlighted five of our favourites below but you can type in ‘Lent’ to the search bar on the site to find more. For example, fans of CS Lewis might like to wrestle with gritty subjects such as suffering, God’s absence and hell in Not a Tame Lion by Hilary Brand, based on his writings.
Enjoy searching – we hope we have saved you some time and effort!

Life Attitudes
A5-session course on the Beatitudes. Learn lessons for life . . . Ideal for house, cell and study groups.

This book aims to help you discover one simple truth: that God loves you passionately, deeply and unconditionally. Exploring the depth, strength and constancy of this love is a lifetime’s journey and this short series of studies is designed to take you further on that journey.
The church should be a place where communal learning for young children is built upon and extended.
These themed sessions provide fun, play-based teaching with lots of activity. Each session is based on a story, with a stated learning aim and related activity, illustration, prayer and suggested song. Topics covered include Advent, Christmas and Epiphany, Lent, Easter, The light of Christ, Following Jesus, Our homes and families and Caring for our world.
