HUD has posted the Guidance for ESG Recipients: Grant Based Accounting fact sheet on the HUD Exchange.

The fact sheet is intended to be a quick reference guide that explains how Grant Based Accounting principles are operationalized in Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS) for the Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Program, and shows ESG Program recipients how to effectively manage their programs in IDIS in accordance with those principles. While reading this document, recipients may want to refer to the Using IDIS Online for the Emergency Solutions Grants Program manual for step-by-step instructions and screen shots.
