Dear <<First Name>>,
We have 5 dates for your diary. All events start at 1000 and finish by 1300. We like to know if you are coming, in case the event is cancelled due to bad weather. Please arrive promptly if you are coming so we can brief everyone and be sure about safety when handling tools.

At last, some colder winter weather - great for working out of doors in the woods. Until this week, the winter has been so mild, log stores are still half full. But also half empty, so they will need filling up before next winter.

Logs4Labour is about enjoying the woods, learning new skills and collecting logs for your wood-burner. Find out more on our web site.

Sunday 24 January - log splitting and learning to use an ax safely.
Sunday 14 February (Valentine's day) Building a structure
Saturday 5   March Preparing the plot for Planting tiny Christmas trees
Sunday 20 March Preparing  for or planting tiny Christmas trees.
Saturday 30 April and Sunday 1 May  Wild Camping and the Dawn Chorus - details to follow

Remember - you will have the option to fill your car with woodfuel. All we ask is that you make a donation of £10 per car-full to help us keep the scheme insured.

Yes, I look forward to seeing you in the woods!
Sorry, I don't think I can make any of those dates
In other news...
We have been busy with harvesting at Fowlshatch, so expect to see quite a big change when you next visit. And and take note of the briefing at the start - we want to keep everyone happy and safe.

Our adventure run on 23 November was a great success, with 150 people taking part. Run-Forest-Run.

I hope to see you in the woods soon.
