Ski Patrol Safety Message
Low snowpack conditions means that natural mountain terrain features such as berry bushes, tree stumps, creeks and rocks may not be completely covered with snow. Riding over these features could damage your gear, cause you to fall, or result in injury.
To help avoid near these natural features and be safe around them, always ride in control with a partner, stay clear of gully bottoms or natural hazards marked by rope or bamboo poles, and carry a whistle that can be used to get help and direct people to your location.
