Valentine's day at Poole's Diner
Happy Monday! We hope you stayed warm and safe this weekend! We used the extra time inbound to work on our menu for Valentine’s Day! Grab your significant other and join us for an evening dedicated to all that warm-and-fuzzy stuff. We’re now accepting reservation inquiries by email (poolesvday@gmail.com): just make sure to include your full name, phone number, party size and preferred time, and one of our hosts will get back to your shortly! Our Valentine’s day menu is a fixed price offering of three courses for $60 ++.
Here’s what’s on tap for February 14th:

NC Oysters Rock-a-Billy with turnip-creamed turnip greens, roasted tomatoes, and Jimmy Red cornbread crumbs
Spinach salad with Curemaster's Reserve country ham, buttermilk fromage blanc, and hot pickled pumpkin vinaigrette
Cauliflower + chestnut velouté with Perigord truffle and burnt honey
Two (choose from the following):
Smoked short ribs with French onion brioche bread pudding, braised escarole, and horseradish crème fraîche
Pan-roasted scallops with beluga lentil-leek stew, preserved peppers, and oil-cured olives
Porchetta-cured pork loin with creamed cabbage collards, crispy sweet potatoes, and rosemary potlikker
Root vegetable pavé with wilted greens and sherry’d mushrooms
Three (choose from the following):
Videri double dark chocolate church cake with hazelnuts and sweet cream
Strawberry buttermilk chess tart with rye crumbs and honey
Orange sorbet with cinnamon shortbread cookie crumbs
