Randwick Rugby welcomes you on board for 2016

Welcome to today's Randwick Rugby e-newsletter

President's Message...To the Randwick Rugby supporters,
On behalf of the Club, we wish you and your family a happy and successful New Year. Everyone involved at Randwick Rugby is looking ahead to 2016 with great optimism and excitement as our strategy and plans evolve to the next level.
Running a district rugby club is a financially challenging proposition. We balance the need to grow the game at a participation level, whilst also running a high-performance program that caters for aspiring players looking to evolve to the professional side of the game. In recent years this challenge has risen with the shorter season and the withdrawal of funding for Premier clubs from the ARU. All revenue now comes from sponsorship, alumni and events.
As a Board we have proactively sought people with the necessary skills and contacts to assist with revenue raising  and we are delighted to announce that Richard Carmont, Managing Director of Adco, Stuart Brown, CEO and Managing Director of Blackwall Funds Property and Ian Kellaway, Director of KMB Business Advisors & Chartered Accountants have accepted an invitation to join the board post an election in late February. All three are great Randwick people who are passionate and committed about building upon the already strong foundations laid by the current executive. Ian will also provide his extensive sports administrative experience, being responsible for improving the engagement and alignment with our Junior clubs.
