A SPECIAL NEW YEAR LETTER FROM ELLEN

Dear Friends and Supporters,

THANKS TO YOU, in the last year, we have been extremely productive! You have helped build a school, supplied many schools with teaching materials and school supplies. You have helped many young people attend high school with grants who otherwise wouldn't be able to attend. You have sent medical supplies to rural regions that had nothing. You have furnished several schools with desperately needed blackboards and student desks. You have sponsored milk programs, book donations, recycling for soap programs. You have supported our "1200" shoes drive, donated a heavy duty photocopier to a school. You have brought 223 Christmas baskets and 1000 toys to impoverished mountain families. You have helped to provide emergency medical care for children and helped us grow by donating a fabulous laptop and camera to our office... and much more.

We can't thank you enough for your caring, your generosity and your support! This means a huge amount to us who work so hard to share resources with developing countries, and you have touched the lives of literally thousands of people in economically hard hit areas!

ONCE AGAIN, CHRISTMAS BASKETS BRING HOLIDAY CHEER TO OVER 200 FAMILIES!

A very special thanks goes to everyone who participated in our Christmas basket program this year! We gave baskets of food and goodies to 223 families, as well as 1000 toys!!

CHILDREN IN XETZE HAVE A NEW SCHOOL!

Thanks to the amazing generosity of our supporters, children in Xetze now have their own school! This hard-working community is so grateful for you support. and so proud of their beautiful new building!!!

Inauguration Day!

ONTARIO HELPS CHAJUL!

Finally, the school in Chajul will have blackboards for all their classrooms, thanks to the Glenn Fox Memorial Golf Tournament! Then we went on a shopping trip for school supplies, teaching materials, and story books, along with basics like waste paper baskets and soap for the bathrooms. This school had nothing! The children, parents, and teachers were so excited to receive these necessary items!

BOOK DONATIONS!!

We are so grateful for our friends at Lectorum Publishing Inc. for their donation of story books to children in Guatemala and Honduras. As you can see in the picture below, the children are absolutely beaming!! They are generously offering a 40 percent discount to anyone who wants to buy books for Buenos Vecinos!! More pics to come as school starts next week!!!!

MEDICAL SUPPLIES FOR TZUNUNÁ!!

We also want to extend a heartfelt "thank-you" to MedShare for their donation of over 150 pounds of medical supplies to a new regional clinic for malnourished children in Tzununá!
