Growing together towards a better future!

As a breeder and propagator of starting material, we as Florensis take our environmental and social responsibilities seriously. As we commit ourselves as Founding Father of Benefits of Nature, we want to strengthen our ambitions for sustainability. With the endorsement of the BON initiative to increase the sustainability of the sector, Florensis distinguishes itself in the market.

Since 2014 we have made great strides with our sustainability policy, with which we can serve our customers and the market well. With BON we can make our processes even clearer and more transparent. Moreover, it will (eventually) be possible to measure our
CO2 footprint.

We believe this is the future and are happy to cooperate on the development of a standard for our industry!

First BON Concept launches

The first unique sustainable BON Concept was developed in co-creation between the following eight companies: Benefits of Nature, Chrysal, Desch Plantpak, Floramedia, FlowerWatch, Grinzz, Imagro and VDE Plant. Of these companies the environmental impact (footprint) is measured by us. The concept consists of a plant, Aqua Pad, bio-pot, tray and display.

We are very happy to report that the project application has been approved, which allows public funds to be used to carry out further research.
