I am thrilled to announce the winner of the Universal Heart picture competition.
The decision was really hard to make, with so many beautiful hearts, so many beautiful entries. We've received over 100 heart pictures from 40 people in 10 different countries. It's been a wonderful feast for the eyes seeing all the beautiful hearts coming in. I'd like to thank everyone who has participated with a picture, voted for their favourite heart and supported the project in any way.
Particular thanks goes to Matt Stuart and Matthew Lindén our wonderful jury who had the tough job of choosing the winning picture. Really honoured to have your expert eye and great energy as part of the project.
Big congratulations to Daniel Saxer for winning the hearts of our jury with his ‘Bulle de Savon’ picture taken in Lausanne, Switzerland (featured above).
In second place congratulations to Justin Goodwin with ‘Heart in the clouds’ over Denmark andHolly Heltin third position with ‘Kokoro’ in Nakatsu Japan.
The winner receives a copy of the limited edition Universal Heart book and there is a small gift for the runners up too.
I'm over the moon with the response to the competition and happy to say I'm in the process of selecting 52 beautiful heart images to be featured in the book.
Launch date will be announced in April and pre-orders will be taken in March.
