Kuni New Testament Dedication
|

The Kuni New Testament was dedicated on January 10th. Praise God! Ronald and Irene Fumey have worked for more than 25 years alongside the Kuni people to produce this translation.
350 New Testaments were sold, 280 Audibibles along with 130 micro-SD cards were sold with the Kuni NT in audio format, and more than 800 poeple watched the Jesus film in the Kuni language.

Aitape West Translation Project
Andrew recently spent a week and a half in the Arop village which is home to the Aitape West translation project. It is a multi-language project that is translating the Bible into 10 different languages. Andrew went to install new equipment, assist with computer network issues, and provide training.
The translators had been working on consultant checking Titus and Philemon. Those two books, along with I Timothy and II Timothy, are ready for audio recording later this month. Andrew set up 3 new printers while he was there so that the translation teams could print out copies of these 4 books for village checking.

Praise Reports:
- Praise God that the Kuni have a completed NT in their own language! They can also listen to the audio recording of the New Testament via Audibibles and smart phones.
- Praise God for new and returning nurses and doctors to the clinc and new and returning staff to the Communications and Technical Services (CTS) department. We are so thankful for our teammates!
Prayer Requests:
- For the Aitape West translation team as they work to record Titus, Philemon, and I & II Timothy this month in 10 languages.
- For the many translation projects in progress, not only in Papua New Guinea, but around the world. There are so many still waiting for God’s Word in their heart language.
- For God’s strength and wisdom for Andrew as he manages the CTS department.
- For Melody as she balances work in the clinic and the work required here to keep a home running.
- Please pray against spiritual attacks that come in many forms including health-related issues, interpersonal conflicts, and financial challenges.
