Save the Date for Our 2016 Conferences
The Conference Planning Committee asks all members to save the dates for our inaugural Great Lakes Water Safety Consortium 2016 Conferences.
Based on member survey input, we've decided to hold two events - in east and west Great Lakes locations. To allow for everyone to adequately and consistently prepare for the busy tourist season based one what they learn at the conferences, we've set them as early as possible:
April 19 in Cleveland, OH
April 22 in Grand Haven, MI
Details are yet to be finalized, but topics at each are likely to include water safety 101, recent dangerous currents research, media training, ideation sessions, local breakouts, and more.
You won't want to miss these important, informative, and interactive conferences, so save these dates now and plan on attending the one most convenient for you.
PLEASE FORWARD to anyone else who might be interested in learning the latest in wave science and ways to help people avoid, escape, and safely save others from dangerous currents and end drowning in the Great Lakes.
