Galatians 5 : 22 — 26; 1-2
BRETHREN, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law. And those who be-long to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let us have no self-conceit, no provoking of one another, no envy of one another. Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Look to yourself, lest you too be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ

Luke 18: 35 — 43
AT THAT TIME, as Jesus drew near to Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging; and hearing a multitude going by, he inquired what this meant. They told him, "Jesus of Nazareth is passing by." And he cried, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" And those who were in front rebuked him, telling him to be silent; but he cried out all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" And Jesus stopped, and commanded him to be brought to him; and when he came near, he asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?" He said, "Lord, let me receive my sight." And Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has made you well." And immediately he received his sight and followed him, glorifying God; and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
A NEW ALTAR FLOWER PROGRAM is starting this month. Parishioners can purchase altar flowers for Sunday’s Divine Liturgy in honor of a loved one’s Memorial, an anniversary, celebrating a birthday, etc. A local florist will create a beautiful arrangement (at the florist’s discretion) and it will be delivered to the church on Friday during office hours. At the end of the Divine Liturgy the patron may take home the arrangement to further enjoy during the week! The cost of the floral arrangement is $100. The great thing is the local florist is donating some of the proceeds back to St. Demetrios! Order yours today!

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Coffee Hour: The Coffee Hour Ministry is carried out behind the scenes, so it may not be as visible as some ministries, but it provides great opportunities for fellowship with each other. Sharing a cup of coffee and a snack gives us all a chance to get to know each other better and remember in prayer.
If you enjoy having a cup of coffee and a snack after each Sunday service, please consider dropping a dollar or two in the donation basket. We use those donations for coffee hour supplies as well as snacks for the Sunday School. If you would like to host a future coffee hour please contact Jody at (805) 402-3696 or via email way2jodys@gmail.com. Upcoming available dates are February 14, March 6, 20 & 27th. Remember to book early if you have a specific date you want to celebrate.
PLEASE NOTE: IN ORDER TO CREATE KOLIVA AND BREAD FOR ARTOKLASIA FOR A PARISHIONER, ARRANGEMENTS MUST BE CONFIRMED AND PAID BY THE PRIOR TUESDAY OF THE DESIRED SUNDAY DATE OR THE REQUEST WILL BE MOVED TO THE NEXT AVAILABLE SUNDAY. COST IS $100 AND IS PAYABLE BY CASH, CHECK OR CREDIT CARD TO COVER THE LABOR & TIME INVOLVED. IF YOU MAKE AND BRING YOUR OWN KOLIVA THERE IS NO CHARGE. THANK YOU.
