It’s amazing how many places this art career has taken me, be it physically, mentally or emotionally.  It looks like the next step in this career will be engaging me fully in every one of these areas.  

I am partnering in a fine art/craft gallery in Chestertown!  My partners in this new venture include: Dave and Patti Hegland (glass), Bob Ortiz (wood), Marilee Schumann (ceramics), Faith Wilson (fiber) and Carla Massoni (Massoni Art).  

Inspired by having collaborated on work and/or past displays of our art together and then encouraged by Chestertown recently being designated as a Maryland Arts & Entertainment district we all felt the strongest desire to make a continuing statement together.  This has lead to Create – art ∙ craft ∙ design.

I have spent most of January creating new work for the gallery and my shows.  The last week or so, I have switched gears to prepare the gallery space for a Spring opening.  Each partner is contributing muscle, imagination and a lot of brain cells to make this exciting adventure a success and a true reflection of our shared vision.
