COUGARS’ CORNER – January 2016
The Cougars would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year filled with health, happiness, and spectacular success.
Indoor Soccer and Basketball are underway...Good Luck Cougars!!!!!!
Baseball/Softball registrations will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays in February starting February 16th at the Bridesburg Rec Center from 6pm to 8pm. Price is $125 for Traveling and $50 for Tball/Rookie. Online registration will be open as well starting the first week of February. The final day for Registrations for either online or in person is Saturday 2/27 from 10am to 12pm.
Opening day has been set for Saturday, April 9th. Mark your calendars!!!!
There will be a Field Clean Up Day set up for Saturday March 26th. This is weather Permitting of course. If this date changes, a newsletter will be sent out as this date approaches. Hopefully Mother Nature will be good to us this year.
We are still looking for some NEW sponsors!!! If you have anyone that is interested or have a suggestion on where to send a packet to, please email Sue at Cougarssue517@gmail.com with the name and a contact name as well.
The final Thomas Wilson Scholarship Texas Holdem game has been set for Saturday February 20th at the Polonia Club on Belgrade Street. Doors open at 6pm. Cost for players buy in is $100, non players can join the fun for $20. Come on out for a great event!!!

CHEERLEADING
Good luck to all the Cougar cheerleaders as they kick off their Competition Season on 12/5/15 and it goes all the way thru to March 1st 2016. With 5 Competitions to perform- we wish you all the luck in the world!!!! All the girls and Coaches have worked so hard preparing for this season-so let’s go out and give it our all! Who are we--COUGARS!
Also, great job to our Lady Cougars who performed at the Temple vs Memphis game on November 21st 2015. You did a great job and made us proud!!
January 17, 2016, was the greatest day of all for our Cougar Cheerleaders! All three of our teams took home FIRST PLACE TROPHIES from the Penn State Abington Competition and our 12u team also took home the Grand Champions Award!
GENERAL MEETING
Our next General Meetings will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
There is no general meeting the month of December 2015.
