5. We have a great hedging deal available at the moment - see special offers below - and also an exciting shipment of Dicksonia antarcticas on the way this spring for you tree fern lovers - see below for more.

Seed potatoes are filling shelves in the shop – so why not begin getting your veggie plans in order for the coming year? Bare root plants and whips are also available now so come and bag a bargain during the limited annual bare root window.
With such a wet and windy start to the New Year, it’s also worth considering whether you’re doing all you can to protect your plants from extreme weather conditions this winter…

Our plants of the month for January are Trees and Hedging Plants.
A little generic yes, but in light of the wet and windy weather we’ve been having, windbreaks (along with flood protection!) are at the forefront of our mind! Protecting the garden from the elements – whether frost or wet, windy weather – is always the name of the game at this time of year and this year is no different.
There are lots of wind tolerant and resistant trees, hedges and shrubs that can help deflect the elements, and with it bare root season, consideration of trees and hedges that may earn their keep in the future if invested in now, would also be worthwhile.

Send us your snaps!
Our first ‘Trevena Cross Christmas Extravaganza’ took place on the two weekends before Christmas, and we're pleased to report that we raised an amazing £2,450 for The Cove Macmillan Support Centre in Truro from all of our Santa's Grotto proceeds.
For those of you who made it, we’d love to see your snaps – in the grotto, at the market, by the snow machine or animal sculptures… get on Facebook and share them with us! If we get more than 15 photos, there’ll be a prize for the best one!
