Hi <<First Name>>,

Last week you met some of our special Superfood Superheroes, and today we are excited to introduce you to our cancer-fighting superhero, Super Arugula!
The skinny on arugula is that it not only tastes good, adding a light, peppery kick to salads and sandwiches, but it also combats cancer-causing elements in your body.

How? Well get ready for a mouthful!

Arugula contains glucosinolates. Once chewed, these glucosinolates are converted to isothiocyanates. Known to help neutralize carcinogens, isothiocyanates can prevent cancer cells from developing and have been shown to be especially effective in fighting lung cancer. Arugula is also rich in kaempferol and quercetin, which essentially create cancer-fighting antioxidant superpowers!

But wait, there's more!

Made up of 90% water, arugula naturally hydrates and nourishes your skin from the inside out. Add to this the fact that arugula is chock-full of folic acid and Vitamins A, C and E, which helps strengthen bones. We think you’ll agree arugula truly deserves to be called a Superfood Superhero.

Now that you know why it’s good for you, here are a few tasty ways to incorporate arugula into your meals this week!
