The Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center has extended the application deadline to Feb. 1 for its 2016 Maine NEW (National Education for Women) Leadership Institute, held June 2-7 at the University of Maine.

  • Celtics raffle tickets. The Lady Seawolves basketball team is selling raffle tickets for $20 each for a package that includes two seats to the Feb. 27 Celtics game vs. Miami, a night at Boston's Courtyard Marriott Downtown, parking and $75 worth of room service. And the best place to check your course schedule, see class syllabi, add or drop a class, and otherwise stay on track is My Courses on My Maine Guide on the MySMCC portal.

At My Courses, you can check your bookstore allowance, find academic forms, complete a course evaluation, access online learning portals or download the SMCC academic calendar. It's also where you'll find contact information for key offices that can help ensure your academic success.
