At CityLab, we know IT careers change the life trajectory of students by enabling them to work in meaningful internships, at major corporations, during their repatriation process.

After a 12-week intensive training program, students work at one of our client companies where they discover that they can indeed succeed as professionals in the corporate world. 

Mentors are the core of everyone's experience. Our platform allows mentor user accounts can track their mentee apprentice progress within their occupation, engage with apprentices via journal entries, and submit performance evaluations. We ask mentors to contribute a small platform fee ($20.00/mo/3-6-12mo).

You will receive a commitment form once completed, we will work with you to assign mentees to complete the following:

Back up network data.
Configure security settings or access permissions for groups or individuals.
Analyze and report computer network security breaches or attempted breaches.
Identify the causes of networking problems, using diagnostic testing software and equipment.
Document network support activities.
Configure wide area network (WAN) or local area network (LAN) routers or related equipment.
Install network software, including security or firewall software.
Evaluate local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN) performance data to ensure sufficient availability or speed, to identify network problems, or for disaster recovery purposes.
