Is Beijing's smoking ban working? On CCTV's talk show "The Heat," Matthew Kohrman comments on China's efforts to curb tobacco use. Kohrman has led many research initiatives on the biopolitics of smoking and tobacco production, including a multi-year mapping project, Cigarette Citadels.
North Korea's nuclear test In early January, North Korea announced it successfully tested a hydrogen bomb. Scholars from Shorenstein APARC and the Center for International Security and Cooperation offered their analyses to NK News, Al Jazeera and Slate, among other media.

The innovations in China's primary health care reform by Feng Lin, Qihong Sun, Zhangping Peng, Jun Cai, Philip Geanacopoulos, Lin Li, Yun Zhao, Xin Zhang, Xiaoxiao Chen (Family Medicine and Community Health) studies the development and innovation experience of the primary care system in Hangzhou, China.
