New Website & Newsletter!

Hello <<First Name>> <<Last Name>>!
You are receiving this newsletter because you are one of our customers or because you subscribed to it. This could have been a long time ago. But this year we really want to inform you more about what we are doing. And why the world of quantum physics is quool. At least to us. If you do not want to receive this newsletter - we plan to send you one each month - feel free to unsubscribe here. But we would really appreciate if you stay tuned!
Our new website!

Let's begin with a little self plugging. We are proud to introduce our new website. Now with a design that works on your tablets and smartphones, too. It's still a newborn and grows every day, but already features our most important products here and our new blog here. Have a look and tell us if you like it!

The cat is dead - long live the pigeons!

Look what we found recently: Schrödinger's Pigeon! The pigeonhole principle states that if you have three pigeons and put them in two holes, one hole will contain more than one pigeon. Though it seems a rather cruel thing to do, everyone can grasp that. That's the way we count objects. An international team of researchers have found a way to prepare three quantum objects into two “holes" in such a way that no two particles are in the same box.

Here's this paper: "Quantum violation of the pigeonhole principle and the nature of quantum correlations."

But wait, I'm not ready yet! Though everyone seemed happy to have a new symbol for the way quantum physics seems unintuitive - pigeons instead of a cat - the effect maybe a result of the interference between the components of the wavefunctions.

And there's that paper: "On the implications of the Quantum-Pigeonhole Effect"

Anyone can quantum!
It happened a few days ago. The destiny of our planet was in the hands of two men fighting. A game of quantum chess. Watch Paul Rudd - "Ant-Man" -and Stephen Hawking battling! In our newest post at our new blog. (And even more bizarre: There's a kickstarter to develop a "real" quantum chess board game!)
BTW: You can meet us at the DPG Spring Meetings in Hannover and Regensburg this year! More information here.
Thank you for staying with us! See you next month!
Cheerio,
