Of literature and palaces

It's been an excitingly busy January - I had opportunities to research and write some enticing pieces, start some new projects, and rediscover solo travel in the Indian state of forts and havelis, Rajasthan. I also (finally!) made it to the Jaipur Literature Festival after six years, and in a palace bursting with people, got to see and hear some of my favourite writers and artists up close: Margaret Atwood, Stephen Fry, Ruskin Bond, Steve McCurry, Molly Crabapple, Don McCullin, Marlon James... What better way to start the year than with such inspiration?
