Sign up for GWL's Coffee Chat with Jeni Klugman, Development Economist

Due to last week's snowstorm, we've moved our coffee chat with Dr. Jeni Klugman to this Wednesday, February 3 from 1-2pm in Nitze 508. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss economic development, women and gender, and a career in development policy, and SAIS students may add themselves to the event wait list here

Jeni Klugman is a fellow at the Kennedy School of Government’s Women in Public Policy Program at Harvard University, where she teaches a course on gender inequality and development. She served a director of Gender & Development at the World Bank until July 2014, and previously served as director and lead author of three global Human Development Reports published by the UNDP. In addition to a Ph.D. in Economics from the Australian National University, she holds postgraduate degrees in both Law and Development Economics from the University of Oxford, where she was a Rhodes Scholar.

Students who sign up for the GWL Coffee Chat with Jeni Klugman will have the opportunity to ask her candid, off-the-record questions about her career and professional experiences, as well as substantive questions about her views on the development space. The event will be capped at 12 students to promote an informal and intimate discussion, and light refreshments will be provided.
