Stars To Compete At Scottish Championships

A host of stars have been confirmed for the 2016 Scottish Artistic Championships in Perth on the 27th/28th February. The line-up includes Team GB world medalist Daniel Purvis and Commonwealth Games stars Frank Baines, Amy Regan, Erin McLachlan and Cara Kennedy. Men's Artistic Pathway Clinic Proves A Hit

Saturday saw the first men’s artistic performance pathway clinic of 2016 led by South Essex Gymnastics Club coach Anthony Wise. 77 gymnasts and coaches were in attendance at the clinic in which aimed to share Anthony’s first hand knowledge, both as gymnast and coach, on the importance of presentation to Britain’s international success. The January clinic marked the first in a series of performance pathway clinics to aid coach and gymnast development

Acrobay Gymnasts In World Trials

Acrobay Gymnastics Club gymnasts Jodi Watson, Jane Stevenson and Chloe Rowlands have their eyes set on selection for the 2016 Acrobatic World Age Group Championships. Reigning Scottish champions and British silver medalists in the 12-18 age group, the trio will attend two trials at Lilleshall National Sports Centre before learning if they have been selected for the Great British delegation travelling to China in March.

TeamGym Scottish Open Championships

The TeamGym Scottish Open Championships will take place on Sunday 7th February at Meadowmill Sports Centre in Tranent, East Lothian. With 32 teams from 8 clubs set to compete, the battle is on to be crowned Scottish champions. Spectator tickets can be purchased at the venue on the day of the event. Competition gets underway at 10am.

World Cup Returns To Glasgow

A star studded line up, which includes no less than four 2015 World Championships medal winning Team GB gymnasts, has been announced for the 2016 Glasgow World Cup. Daniel Purvis, Max Whitlock, Claudia Fragapane and Kelly Simm will compete at the Emirates Arena on 12th March. Tickets are on sale now!
