Dear Parents,

A very warm welcome to everyone. I trust that you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and that you got to enjoy some time with family over the break. It is wonderful to see all the students return eager and happy to get back into work again.

We welcome back Fiona Davis who will be working in 3BD for Semester 1 while Kirby Hilton is on maternity leave.

We welcome to our school community Matthew Shipley 6PS, Riley Hopkins 6BS, Tomas Taylor 5FC, Riley O’Gorman 4A, Phoebe 3FH & Charlotte 1R Packer, Billy Hilton 2C, Ben Doubleday 2C, Molly Hopkins 2G, Vineet Malik 1R, Molly Hutchins 1KG and their families. We hope your time with us is enjoyable and rewarding.

2016 has begun in earnest here at St Pat’s. The teachers are adjusting their Religious Education Programs to cater for the early start of Lent next week on Wednesday, 10^th February.

The Year 1, Year 2 and Year 4 students will participate in an Ash Wednesday Liturgy in Mercy Hall at 10.30am. All parents are welcome to join us.

Year 5 & 6 will attend the Parish Mass at 10.30am and Year 3 will attend the 12noon Parish Mass.

WELCOME BACK TO EVERYONE FOR 2016.

There has been a change in the recess and lunch roster times for this year.

If you are rostered to serve at Recess the time is 11.00 to 11.30am. and lunch prep/serve time is 1.15 - 2.10pm.

If you wish to go on a roster or change times/days please contact me 60214464 or you can download the helper form to complete and return.

Also a reminder we have re-usable lunch order wallets available to purchase from the tuckshop.

ALBURY CITY OOSH

Before School Care
Reminder that Albury City OOSH services is running a before school care trial. The program is operated at our Albury Public School OOSH from 7am to 8:45am and is open to children from St Patricks School. A walking bus program is running to drop these children off to St Patricks school each morning at 8:45am. If you need care please contact Albury OOSH on 6043 5630 or email alboosh@alburycity.nsw.gov.au.

Kinder Only Days (KODs)
Do you need full day care on Wednesday’s in February for you kinder child? We still have places available. The KDO is a fun program of swimming, games, excursions, cooking and craft. It is a great opportunity for your child to bond with other Kinder children and get into the school routine. If you need care please call us on 6043 5640.

After School Care
Do you need After School Care? St Pats OOSH is an “Exceeding Rated” services under the National Quality Framework. We have an open door policy and always welcome families to drop in and have a look around. We are located on the far side of the school office (near ASPECT), you can contact us on 6043 5640.

St Pat's Junior Football Club (AFL) is looking for players in the u12’s for the 2016 season.
Registration days to be held on Friday the 5th & 12th February from 4pm to 6pm at the Fallon Street clubrooms, Xavier High School.
Preseason training will commence on Friday the 5^th February, u12 & u14’s at 4:00pm at Xavier High School, Oval 1.
