Our first few months

In our first few months, we have established 25 outposts at mental health services, delivered 116 information sessions reaching more than 1000 people, and are setting up a consultation process so that consumers can directly tell us what they want from our service.

Mental health issues in the news


A South Australian research study has found that medical practitioners addressed all necessary criteria for involuntary treatment in only 40 per cent of admission forms. Read the Medical Journal of Australia summary of the research.

The Mental Health in Multicultural Australia project, funded by the Australian Government, is examining better ways to support culturally and linguistically diverse communities. They are presently seeking views on future directions. Find out more.
