VHEDC is excited to announce that Punch Neapolitan Pizza will be adding its 11th location in the Twin Cities at Heights Plaza in Vadnais Heights. Last night, VHEDC Executive Director, Ling Becker, introduced Punch co-owner John Puckett to the Vadnais Heights City Council who made the announcement along with Jim Volp, owner of Heights Plaza located at the intersection of Hwy 96 & Centerville Road. The new restaurant is scheduled to be open in late summer 2016! Welcome Punch Pizza to the Vadnais Heights Business Community!

2016 State of the City Event
The VHEDC is hosting the 2016 State of the City Address by Mayor Marc Johannsen on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Jimmy’s Food and Drink from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. The speech provides a unique opportunity for residents and business leaders to hear the Mayor share his thoughts on the city, local economy, and community climate, along with his vision for the future of Vadnais Heights. Residents and the business community are all invited to attend this informative and compelling event. A light breakfast will be served; cost is $15.00. Due to limited seating, we ask you to sign up in advance.

The VHEDC is excited to share this opportunity with you. One of our investors, Larson Engineering, is holding the world-renowned Dale Carnegie Course at its offices, beginning February 22 and invites you to join them. This course will help you master the human relation skills demanded in today's tough business environment. You'll learn to improve human relations skills, strengthen interpersonal relationships, manage stress and handle fast-changing workplace conditions. You'll develop more effective communication skills and be better equipped to perform as a persuasive communicator, problem-solver and focused leader. What's more, you develop a take-charge attitude to initiate with confidence and enthusiasm.
Lee Granquist, president of Larson Engineering, says this about their experience with the Dale Carnegie Course, “We wanted to give not only our engineers, but all of our employees, the opportunity to stand confidently in front of a group and put their thoughts into words. ATTENDANCE: Completion of 7 of the 8 sessions are required to graduate from the program. If you have to miss an additional session, it can be made up at another public program within the year and full credit will be applied.
