  • Lauren Thomas, Blue Cluster
  • Lynn Park, Blue Cluster
  • Jessica Harold, Blue Cluster

  • Veronica Ledesma, Research Service Center

Don't see your name on the list? No problem: this is an ongoing program that's open to  all DSS career staff members who are paid from general funds. Just participate in IT skills training between now and October 2016 to qualify for the next round!

Microsoft Surface Pro Power Adapter Recall

Image of recalled Surface Pro power cordMicrosoft's Surface Pro series of tablets have been popular since they were released. More than 20 have been purchased through DSS IT, and we know that many more have been purchased personally by faculty, staff, and students in DSS.

Microsoft has issued a voluntary recall on Surface Pro AC power adapters that were purchased before March 15, 2015. The recall addresses a fire and electric shock risk.

If you have a Surface Pro that was purchased through DSS IT, you can contact the DSS IT service desk to have us handle the recall process or handle it yourself.

For personally-purchased Surface Pros, we highly recommend following the simple recall procedure at the link above.
