I Use Technology & Employee Training to Further Careers

My name is Rogers "Old School" Casteal. I live my life by 'old school' values and not the 'old school' way of thinking.

I am the Quality and Training Manager for Macuch Steel, a fourth-generation steel manufacturer in Augusta, and I am the January 2106 Face of Manufacturing.

I believe in training, education, and motivation for myself and my team. Read my story and view my video.

Georgia Tech Provides Technology-Based Applications to Manufacturers

Georgia Tech has a vast array of researchers that are currently helping manufacturers solve real-world problems. Georgia Tech also has researchers that are working on technology in their lab that could be applicable to the marketplace. Here is a recent example:
  • Georgia Tech helped Yamaha with material development at a molecular level to create a lighter weight wave runner. View video
If your company is looking for research on new technology-based applications let me know and I can connect you to the appropriate resources on campus.

Event for Minority-Based Manufacturers

The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) at Georgia Tech is putting on the first-ever manufacturing industry-specific event exclusively for minority business enterprise (MBE) manufacturers, supply chain decision makers, and stakeholders with a focus on innovation, technology, and business-to-business matchmaking.
