Roof Construction Update

High winds have impeded progress somewhat, but work to replace the roof at the north end of the school is ongoing. Air quality tests performed inside the building have shown no cause for concern, and it has certainly been the source of a lot of excitement for students!

Winter Walk Day on Wednesday

This Wednesday, February 3rd is Winter Walk Day across Canada. Students are encouraged to bundle up, walk to school, and enjoy the winter season! See the Active & Safe Routes to School website for more information.

Upcoming PA Days

There is a PA Day next Friday, February 12th. The TDSB has announced an additional PA Day for the 2015-2016 school year on Friday, April 15th. See this notice for more information.

Safe Arrival Program

Parents, visitors and guests are requested to use appropriate doors for entry and dismissal. Should a child be dropped off after the entry time then they must enter using the front doors and report to the office. If a parent wishes to speak to a teacher, please call the office and make an appointment. Thank you for your cooperation.

Kindergarten Registration 

Children born in 2012 will be starting school next September! Kindergarten registration for 2016-2017 will be held next week. Please schedule an appointment time for registration by calling the office at (416) 393-9575.

Reminder: Parent Council Meeting

The Wilkinson School Community Council will meet TONIGHT at 6:30 pm in Room 3. Childcare is available upon request. All parents/guardians are welcome, you don't need to be a member to attend. See the meeting agenda for tonight's topics of discussion.

On Tuesday, March 8th, 2016 Money School Canada will present a workshop at Wilkinson to offer parents strategies, tips and tools to help support their child’s financial literacy education. More details to come!
