Special Notice: We have been forewarned by Shanghai authorities that the water situation has not yet been fully resolved. At present we have a restricted water supply and so have been able to open the school but we are not sure what the situation will be tomorrow. Please check the website tonight and tomorrow morning for updates. We will inform parents by 6:30am (via website/email/WeChat/bus monitors) if the school is open or closed on Friday 29 January.
It has been an unusual and very cold week for us all in Shanghai with temperatures dropping to well below seasonal norms and making the headlines for the coldest weather for 30 years. While the dusting of snow was a nice experience for the children, the freezing temperatures have not been so much fun for the roads or the water pipes.
