2016 Messy Church


This is a two hour family timeout that gives families an opportunity to explore Christian traditions through stories, songs and crafts and enjoy a family meal together. This Messy Church convenes on the last Tuesday of every month from January to June. No registration fees!

Grief Support Session
This Grief support group is open to anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one and looking for support in the sharing with others on their grief journey. It will be facilitated by a trained Grief and Bereavement facilitator. RSVP to Janet Helmer at 613 224-7431 x202.

Brotherhood of Anglican Churchmen


The BAC will hold our next monthly meet at St. Paul’s University. We have been invited by Kevin Flynn, to a Eucharist beginning at 12:10 on February 25. After the service we will enjoy a reasonably priced lunch and present our annual bursary to postulant student Ryan Boivin. Note that the BAC is open to all Anglican men in the Dioceses and their spouses and friends. For more information please call Don Butler at 613-746-8037.

Evensong
This deeply spiritual service uses the BCP Evensong including prayer; canticles, psalm and anthem by St. James' Liturgical Choir; and evening congregational hymns. Also a prelude and postlude by Barbara Martin, Flute; Joe Martin, Clarinet, Louise Link, Saxophone; and Steve Clark, Bass Clarinet.

Citizens for Public Justice
In September 2015, leaders of Canadian faith communities issued a statement “On Promoting Climate Justice and Ending Poverty in Canada” a call for federal government action to end poverty and fight climate change. Now Citizens for Public Justice is coordinating a national petition from people of faith who are echoing this call for climate justice. Add your voice to the call online.
