We've been busy developing more activities on water for 2016, including: long and short canoe courses held by the Marathon Canoe Club of SA, sunrise and sunset tours with Canoe the Coorong, and the Pretoria Hotel Paddle Dash!

Canoe SA / OPAL workshops 2015

Canoe SA Canoe Workshops

Canoe SA will be holding canoe/kayak workshops for you to hone your skills.

Paddle your own canoe

Learn some paddling skills in a fun activity Canoe SA. For 12 – 16 year olds. BYO kayak/canoe or one can be provided for you – limit 10.

Water Confidence

Feel comfortable with being able to paddle you craft and perform a rescue learn some basic methods for avoiding capsize and what to do if one occurs. 16 years or older.

Randell's Steam Works Shed in operation. Marvel at the quiet operation of the Key Beam Engine, an important example of early engineering and one of the oldest heritage listed items on the Murray River.

Black Smith Shop in operation, teaching our youth as to the history of manufacturing and the hardships associated with metal production from years ago.
