Big 12 Presidents took their turn in Dallas with arguably the biggest news being that Commish Bowlsby will serve as the sole voice for the league in the coming months, move could quiet the likes of Oklahoma Prez Boren & West Virginia boss Gee who had been clouding the picture, Kansas State Prez Schulz, "We’ve come a long way in the last six months. If we’re committed to the strength of the conference, then it becomes tactical." Sexual assault victims at Baylor are planning a candlelight vigil on Monday night at the home of Prez Starr to demonstrate their opposition to how the school has handled the topic, "If you are a sexual assault survivor, or know a sexual assault survivor, or have been affected by this breach in justice in any way, please come, stand with us, and light a candle. For the first time in history Arizona FB coordinators will receive multi-year deals as the Board of Regents make an exception to university policy, "The basis for this request is that multiyear appointments for football offensive and defensive coordinators are becoming common in the industry and are deemed necessary to maintain program competitiveness." Michigan State is the latest to announce increased FB season ticket prices for 2016, first bump in seven years, $5 per game is the raise ($35 in total with seven home games), plus $10 per game for season parking passes ($70 in total), AD Hollis, "We never take our fans for granted and we understand that they make a significant financial commitment for the opportunity to attend our events. We also cannot take our success for granted. Therefore, we must continue to generate revenue and resources to maintain our program at the top of both the conference and national level." - link

North Dakota State's Student Fee Advisory Board elected not to award upgraded funds to the athletic department, not a completely done deal, but certainly headed in that direction, athletics had requested a bump to cover the increasing costs of maintaining high-level success, "The North Dakota State University athletic department understands the NDSU Student Finance Advisory Board today voted to not increase funding to numerous campus entities, including athletics. WHCA Women's Commish Kemp resigns after just a year & a half in the leadership role to pursue other professional opportunities, Men's Commish Robertson will take over Kemp's responsibilities in the interim, release says the WHCA will figure out the long-term solution later in the Spring, "Robertson has worked closely with Aaron over the past 18 months on overarching WCHA matters.
